Thread: Automatically Selects the Word

When selecting text from middle of a word (usually to delete), Word 2007 automatically selects the whole word and this extra-helpful feature tends to
be an annoyance. Here's how you put an end to it.



1.Click on the Office button and choose Word Options.

2.In the list of options, choose Advanced in the left hand column

3.Deselect the Automatically select entire word check box
