Default Add Customer Header Lines To E-mails

There are many applications that uses custom e-mail headers as standardise way of exchanging information. The Bat! allows you to create custom header files, which you may use to test such applications, or just show off your skills.

All e-mails you send already have standard headers such as Subject, To, Cc, Bee, etc. In order to create a custom you have to precede it with "X-" to make sure it doesn't conflict with any standard headers.

To add custom header lines to e?mails in The Bat!

    1. Go to Options> Preferences. This will open the preferences dialog box.

    2. Next, go to Messages > Message Headers. Click Add to add a Header field.

    3. Type the desired header name under both RFC Name and the Display this header filed as fields.

    4. For example let's put X?Thinkdig i t as our custom header. 5.MakesureAllow to edit this field in the Message Editor is checked.

    5. Click OK, twice. Since The Bat! doesn't allow you to specifY standard values for extra headers, you have to make sure you enter a value when you send the mail. Print E-mails with page numbers

    6. When you create a new message, select View from the menu. Click the desired custom header you just created to make sure it is ticked.

    7. Now enter the value in the header's field. You can find the field, just below the To: and Ce: field. Scroll the header area if you don't see the Custom field.
