This card reader is a single mini USB for power as well as data connectivity, and the speed is good enough on most of the memory cards. We put in a mulŽtiple memory cards on all the slots and run them simultaneously. In real time the speed came down a little bit but while running a single memory card the speed was exceptionally good. We tested a single individual cards slot with a multiple file types and transfered it from memory card to Pc. We observed the speed varied depending upon the card capacity. The compactness of the memory also affected the performance. OverŽall the speed and performance of all the card reader slot were excellent. Well it is upto you whether you want Kingston or Sony as these two Multimedia card reader (both 19-in-l) cost you the same price.
