Mozilla Weave 0.2.2 for Firefox:
Lucky are those who only ever access the Web from a single Pc. Others are cursed with forever customizing their browser every time a different PC is used. Or do we give up and just go with the defaults? For a while 'Google BrowserSync' for Firefox 2.x seemed to have the solution, but that was discontinued. Now, a new service by the Mozilla Labs aims to provide similar func¬tionality and much more. Eventually, Weave will let you upload all your bookmarks, history, passwords, customi¬zations and preferences to a server of your choice, and have access to the encrypted data from any PC in the world once you login with a password. So for example, you could start browsing with a few tabs at home, and the next morning, resume your browsing session from where you left off at work. Weave is compatible with Firefox 3.0 and requires account creation with the service - which signs on a limited number of users every few days, so that their server is not overwhelmed.
FosiX Lite 1.0: Space usage on a hard drive needs to be tracked, if you don't want to run out of space at the wrong time. For instance, you might see 20 GB of space inexplica¬bly occupied. Solving the mystery of how that much space is being used is fairly simple, but time-consuming. The slow way to do that might be to right-click each folder in the root of your drive, and see the 'size on disk', and then further investi¬gate within the largest-sized folder. There is a much quick¬er way to do the same - install the freeware tool named FosiX Lite. Start it and tell it which drive letter you want to investigate, and you will be shown pie charts or bar graphs of folders and files, proportionate to their space usage. Click on a folder name to go one level deeper into your folders.

However, Podmailing tries to offer an innovative solution to this problem. It uses the bit¬torrent protocol to transfer files and folders from the sender to a recipient. The nature oftor¬rent downloads means that if you have multiple recipients, they can download the files even quicker.
