Asus M3A78 BIOS update per 1701 I've updated with the Asus bios tool / flashed and it worked well. when booting windows vista 32 bit (yes I know the last dirt) tries to come up to the green bar invite. This is not far and a brief blue screen seems to be too fast to read and it will restart. I despair and not getting anywhere have already tried using the vista dvd to repair un restored everything but did not put.

Have you tried Vista once in safe mode to start? After a BIOS update the motherboard is refurbished, there is a new device with a new BIOS for Windows. It will, however, does not require a new driver. They're already in the system. Otherwise Flash the old BIOS version on it again. Then Vista should find nothing new.
