    Default TV recording with pc

So my question is this: I have my PC and my TV connected by HDMI for when I want to see any movie screen and I just spread savings and burn dvd player and stuff. To be connected .... I can record a TV source to the pc? That is, if you are adding something interesting on TV, I can record with the pc? I'm not, I have searched google and have not found anything about it.

Not sure if you mean to record TV from your computer because they are connected by an HDMI cable the answer is no, now if you mean if a computer can record a TV no problem, just need a tuner card. That's all I can say that because they do not recommend but surely looking for some post encuentras talk about it.

No. What you do is clone the TV picture to your monitor. To do what you say you would have to buy a tuner card for PCI. But I recommend you buy it via USB. I had a USB and doing quite well, just ponerle the cable to make it look decent. Since the antennas qu never worked well. Usually the drivers and software for TV cards usually have some application to record.

No need, just need the tuner card, with it become the PC into a TV and can record whatever you want on your hard disk, or using the HDMI connection you say you already have an image you can move from computer to TV as you do films with only instead of a movie you're watching TV.

I take this thread because I am interested, can you recommend any good software that allows me to record in different formats tv programs I see through my usb capture? I lost the original software itself and would like some software that allows scheduled recordings, video game consoles to play on the pc etc ...
