Hi all! when replacing a graphics card on the other must first uninstall the card driver that I will remove it?, but if I replace the card but just update the driver / driver for the last one came out I must first uninstall the one I have and then install the new one or simply install over the other?
Is always advisable to completely uninstall drivers before installing newer ones / recent.
Today install some drivers over the past does not usually cause problems. But if you had the proper installation of the drivers (at least in AMD-ATI) gives you the option to remove the old before putting the new ones. If nVidia can not (do not know, you have not used them) you can always remove from the OS itself or the DriverSweeper 3.0. But again, usually the previous can be crushed without problems.
If the graph is to keep current with the driver installers that offer AMD and NVIDIA today there is no problem to upgrade without installing anything.
The driver sweeper it all off, but the truth is a pain to have to uninstall, restart, let a fail-safe mode, delete (Ds), reboot, install, reboot, when it makes sense is another to remove it with Add / Remove Programs to delete the settings.
