This was the only drive which didn't have dedicated security features like the above drives. Protection for this drive comes in the form of password protection (which is not mandatory unlike the other three which force you to set a password).
The SanDisk Cruzer Contour comes with U3 software which allows you to carry your applications on a USB drive and launch them on any Pc. Through this software only, password protection can be enabled which provides 256-bit AES encryption. So if you are looking for a completely secure flash drive, the Sandisk Cruzer may not be very effective because protection is done only through the U3 software. Since the U3 software can be completely removed from the drive, the password protection will become redundant. It offers no other security features like secure partition or individual files/folders protection.

The area where it scored the highest was in the speed and performance test where it performed blazingly fast and came out way ahead of the pack. But this is understandable because the drive is not really geared towards security features but is more suited for frequent data transfers. Since our comparison was primarily to check which drive offered the maximum security, SanDisk Cruzer came last in this comparison even though it was very fast and came with a competitive price tag. It ultimately lost out because it lacked the multiple security features that other drives in the comparison had to offer.
