    Default speed with usb external hard drive

    I have a good external hard drive, connects via USB 2.0 the fact is that if you connect to a pc USB x front that I have, I am going slower than cnd rioja plug back to USB evil is Iran? Or is that back at the plate will be faster? Ensue functioning not understand as much.

    Some people go directly from the motherboard and therefore are much faster (behind).

    Fronts tend to be bypassed with others, which in principle are slower than the rear.

    the back panel is via mainboard and front panel is additional cable from mainboard

    So too will the front plate. I doubt that they are slower. See if someone explains this mystery.

    Casual is not for your tower mark (Hp, Acer,) normally tend to save it to USB 1.1 connectors front and rear 2.0

    Do that with the savings. USB 1.1 is 15 times slower than 2.0. I do not remember well, but something. So if you buy one the same motherboard (and others too) avoids these tricks.
