With price of flash memory falling almost as rapidly as its capacity is rising, I thought it was high time I invested in a new flash drive. I will be testing out Cruzer Micro 4GB Flash Drive from Sandisk.

The flash drive model used here is available through from company for $39.99, but when it's available on Amazon.com for almost half this amount, and if you shop around you must get many places where it is even cheaper than this.

Sandisk is storage specialist, identified as one of the leading companies and suppliers of a wide range of flash memory-based products and technologies. Buying products from reputable company is supportive, but does the drive live up to its producer's reputation?
