USB 2.0 is second release of well-liked USB port. Though it is not possible to tell USB 2.0 from USB 1, it gives quicker data transfer speed. If you installed new USB 2.0 ports, then you must activate them. Activation provides PC data about how to run devices off of ports and what to do with attached hardware.

Instructions

• Take out driver installation CD from covering that with this USB 2.0 ports.

• Put in driver installation CD then USB 2.0 driver installation wizard loads.

• Follow the prompts of wizard. Leave all prompts as default settings.
Modifying default settings result in PC losing track of installation place. If this occurs, PC may not know what to do with installed USB 2.0 ports.

• Click "Install" and drivers install onto PC. After finished, take out CD and start by USB 2.0 ports.
