Thread: Downloadable games won't play on Xbox

Just now I downloaded one game on my Xbox hard disk. But the problem is when I try to play that game it shows error as "the file has become corrupted". I have downloaded it properly still the error occurs. So please help me to solve this problem. Any help will be appreciated.

First check whether game is damaged or not. If yes then there is yellow exclamation mark on it. To decide this go to Xbox Dashboard, choose Memory, and push the A button. Choose storage place and push the A to verify. Go to games, choose game and push the A button. Now choose saved game, and push the A button. If saved game file is damaged, it marked as Corrupt Content and have yellow exclamation mark.

Remove downloadable content, and download again. For this follow the steps given below:

• Sign in to Xbox LIVE by Gamertag.

• In Xbox Dashboard, choose System, and push the A button.

• Choose Memory, and push the A button.

• On Storage Devices screen, choose Hard Drive, and push the A button.

• On Hard Drive screen, choose Games, and push the A button.

• On Games screen, choose game title, and push the A button.

• On separate game screen, choose downloadable content to delete, and push the A button.

• On content screen, push the A button to remove content.

• On Delete Item screen, choose yes, and push the A button to verify action.

• On separate game screen, push the B button 4 times to return to System section.

• Start game. Then, sign in to Xbox LIVE to download game content again.

I had this problem and just rang up Micro$oft
