Thread: Xbox 360 multimedia remote control

I have purchased Xbox 360 multimedia remote control and I hope to control vista mice with it. I have IR receiver but I don't have Xbox 360 and media extender. So please tell me how to control mice without Xbox 360 with 360 multimedia remote control? Any help will be appreciated.

Xbox 360 remotes utilize similar IR protocol as Media Center PC remotes, but use other remote ID/channel that PC doesn’t listen to by default. If there is Media Center 2005, then use TweakMCE powertoy to modify remote ID on PC to match ID of Xbox 360 remote.
