Thread: Error in Oblivion game

I have PC running on Vista. Now I installed Oblivion but I am unable to play game appropriately. When I try to play game, game opens and stops itself or occasionally I am unable to save game. When I try to reload game, it shows "Save file does not exist". So please help me to solve this problem. Thanks in advance.

Try running game in compatibility mode. All versions of Windows which released after XP have compatibility mode. In compatibility mode, all applications used to run in previous version of OS can be utilized effectively in new version of OS. For this right click on Game icon and then choose properties. Go to compatibility tab and then check mark on "Run this application in compatibility mode" and choose OS. Save settings and start the game.
