It can be due to temperature drop. Download few central processing unit monitoring tool similar to Real Temp. This tool will furnish you the real temperature when you are playing the game and when you are not. Note down the difference. If the central processing unit temperature goes high that means it heating. You have to assure that there is sufficient ventilation in the system case. There is no dust and the power supply is sufficient to furnish appropriate power to the full system. It occurs in so less cases where the central processing unit temperature drops. It raising commonly. There can be few type of application or characteristic in your system which is doing that.

Check that the heat sink is used correctly. It is should hanadle a thin movie of contact among the processor and the central processing unit fan. Or else the consequence may happen again and again.

Include up more power to your system. I will urge you to upgrade your smps. You had not stated which power supply you are utilizing just now. It is urge to have more than 440w if you have a graphics processing unit and more if you have multiple graphics processing units. I am confirm your system is deficient due to that. Second choice leaving the hardware material aside you can test informing your video drivers.
