When you copy a folder or sub-folder or sub-sub¬folder to a new location, all its contents also get copied with it. Let us copy the TempI folder to the temp folder. In our case, both these folders reside in the Local Disk . To do the folder copying, we proceed in the following way. For our current task and other tasks in this chapter, we will mostly work in the Explorer window of the Local Disk. You have to master the steps needed to open this important window. So, read carefully and practice the method of opening the Explorer window of the Local Disk described below.

1. We assume that you have gone through the last workout.

2. Start with the Explorer window of My Computer. In the Folders box of this window, locate the Local Disk and movethe mouse-pointer over its plus sign Then click the left mouse button. The plus sign I changes to the minus sign. The My Computer window'changes to the Explorer window of the Local Disk IC:' whose contents get displayed in the Contents box.

3. Now in the Contents box of Local Disk. locate the Temp1 folder that we have to copy.

4. Once you have located the Temp 1 folder, movethe mouse¬pointer over it, and clickthe left mouse-button. The folder gets highlighted.

5. Now. move the mouse-pointer over the Edit option of the Menu bar and chCkthe left mouse-button. Immediately, a pull-down menu appears on the screen.

6. In the pull-down menu, movethe mouse-pointer over the .copy option. Now your computer has made a copy of the Temp 1 folder, and it awaits your instruction to paste it at a location of your choice.

7. Now in the Contents box, locate the temp folder where you have to paste Temp1

8. After finding the temp folder, move the mouse-pointer over it and double-click the left mouse-button. Immediately the contents of the temp folder, i.e .the Sachin file, get displayed in the Contents box.

9. You are now ready to paste the copied folder, i.e. Temp1. So clickon the Edit Menu bar option. A pull-down menu gets displayed 011 the screen.

10. Inside the pull-down menu, move the mouse-pointer over the flaste option, and click the left mouse-button. Instantly, the Temp 1 folder gets copied into the temp folder.

Copy the TempI folder inside the WI folder and then draw the file-folder structure.

• Begin with the Explorer window of the Local Disk

• Locate the Templ folder in the Local Disk Contents box and click over it.

• Click on the Edit option.

• Inside the Edit pull-down menu, click on the Copy option.

• Now, look for the Wl folder in the Local Disk Contents box.

• After locating it. double-click the left mouse-button over it.

• Click on the Edit option .
