In a vast country like India, the Internet is of great significance. With the Internet, distance is no barrier to instant communication. Whereas a letter might take 4-5 days to reach from one end of this country to another, an Internet message hardly takes seconds to reach from one end of the world to the other. For this to happen, only a computer connected to Internel at each end is needed. Communication in INDIA has advanced in leaps and bounds through the Internet. Apart from personal communication, Internet is now widely being used in business, distant education, defence, research etc.
