Speech recognition technology is a milestone towards 'making man-machine interaction more natural. It offers maximum benefit for Internet search engines when it comes to users of mobile devices. And the technology is soon going to make its entry in to commercial products. Both Microsoft and Yahoo already offer voice services for mobile phones. The 'Tell me' service of Microsoft offers information categories like maps, direction and movies and Yahoo's 'One Search' also works on the same voice recognition technology.

iPhone search capability is not the only voice offering from Google; the directory information service from Google announced few months back has become a full fledged product.
