Thread: Internet history stored on computer

Hi

My friend told me that even though you delete you internet History it doesn’t mean that it fully removed from your system. He also told me that they are stored on your computer. We were wondering where our history is stored.

Does anybody know? Please reply me back?

Even after deleting history, it can be found in index.dat file in C:\Documents and Settings\Default User\Local Settings\Temporary Internet Files\Content.IE5 folder.
