Default Saving Downloads to a Folder

    Hi

My old computer would allow me to click on something I intended to download and then choose which folder I wanted the downloaded file to go. I got a new computer with Vista and it came with IE version 7, now when I click a download it doesn't ask me where to save it. This is important for my Sims 2 downloads. If I download something like "eyes" or "clothes" I need to put them in the appropriate folder. Is there any type of options or settings i can change in either firefox or IE that will ask me where I want to save the downloaded content before I download it?

How to fix out this Problem? Please help me?

In FireFox it is in Tools/Options/Main/Downloads...check "always ask me where to save "
