Just as Firefox has its set of "about:config" files that allow the user to configure the browser and its performance, Google Chrome has its share of configurable files.
Chrome terms these files as "Easter eggs;'. Here's a brief overview on the most' popular Google Chrome Easter eggs.
about:crash - Once you type this in the address tar and press the [Enter] key, Google Chrome displays a sad smiley. about:internets - There isn't much that one can do with the help of this Easter egg. It merely displays the famous Windows pipes screensaver. about:hang - This Easter egg will notify you about the tab that's causing your browser to hang. You can isolate this and later close it.
about:dns - Using this you can prefetch the DNS records for 10 hostnames that are visited most frequently by you.
about:network - This Easter egg displays the links to all different objects present in the webpage in the omnibox.
about:memory - Google have played a bit of a prank with this Easter egg.
It simply displays a comparison of the memory usage by all other opened browsers in comparison with Google Chrome.
aboutlugins - This can be used to get more information on the plugins that are installed in Google Chrome. These include flash players and other useful extensions.
