Thread: Reference sites

Please start a series where website references would be given on different interests. Please give me some reference sites where textbooks of different disciplines can be viewed and downloaded. Are torrents available for the same? I have tried to look up some sites like Mininova and Isohunt but so far the response has been poor.

We already have a section called as Site Seeing (Net Chart), wherein every month
we pick the best of the websites related to a particular category. We will surely include one on the e-books. You can search the topic of your interest and also can find more information on Wikipedia.

On the torrent aspect, let us inform you that torrent is a good way of sharing fi les, however, majority of the files available on these torrent sites are pirated. Hence we would refrain you to visit these sites and download the software.
