Active Desktop Calendar is available for download on the Internet. It allows you to perform various activities like maintain a calendar, send notes, group calendar data, connect to Google calendar, etc.

Once on the site click 'Free Download'.

Save the installed file on your computer.

Double-click the downloaded file to commence the installation process.

Click 'Next' to proceed to the next window. Make sure you click the 'I accept the agreement' radio button to proceed.

On clicking 'Finish', you will see the application icon on the desktop.



Double-click the icon that appears on the desktop.

This will launch the application. The version available at the site provided above is a 21 day evaluation trial. Click 'Continue Evaluation' on the dialog box that appears.

The calendar will appear on your desktop. The specialty of this calendar is that various components appear as part of your desktop wallpaper. This causes it to appear as if it has blended with the wallpaper.

NOTE: While the detailed entries appear to be merged with the background, the calendar can be seen clearly on your desktop.
