Thread: Downloading and installing

Log on to the website. Scroll through the page and identify the download options. Make sure you are downloading the full package that contains all the key modules that were outlined earlier in this story. Also ensure that you are downloading the latest version since the older versions had some security problems. Click on the "'Download"' link and save the installer to your desktop or to a known folder.

For the installation, you must be logged on to Windows with administrator rights. Log off Windows and login again using an account that has administrator rights.
If you are confused or clueless, then ask a friend to set up a Windows account with such rights for you. Start the installation program and select the components that you want to use. You need to install at least the GnuPG, WinPT, and GPGee modules.
