When your colleague receives the encrypted mail, the key [sent earlier], and the passphrase [that you told him], he does the exact reverse process. He copies the encrypted text to the clipboard. Then, using WinPT and your key, he decrypts the message on the clipboard [he will be asked for the passphraseJ. He can then paste the readable text into the message that you sent, into a notepad file, or into a Word document.

It is important for the recipient to remember the passphrase and also to save the key for future use. At the end of this article, we will show you how to save the key in a virtual keyring in the Key Manager program [WinPT).
Here are the steps to decrypt the message using the key.

3. When prompted enter the passphrase that the sender used to protect the key.
The message is decoded and copied to the clipboard. From there, you can paste it in a text program or in the encrypted e-mail itself. And you can now read the e-mail.
