Restriction on File Size The Google Docs web server has restrictions on the maximum file size for documents of all types. GoogleDocs have to be less than 500KB. It however provides 2MB for embedded images for each file. Each Google Spreadsheet should have a maximum row count of 10,000, column count of 256, and sheet count of 40.
