Windows XP and Vista saved the DNS information of Web sites you have visited; to get those sites faster every time you access them. Few times cache gets corrupted or stores various unwanted data, and because of these we get slower Internet response times. To clear the cache, go to start >> command prompt >> type ipconfig /flushdns. The commands clean the DNS cache and restore your Internet access speed.
