    Default : Games randomly crash

Whenever I have tried to playing a game on vista home premium 32-bit seems to cause random crashes at random times. My system is 100% up to date. I know this is not my hardware problem because I can load XP pro. I tried reinstalling vista by its self with no dual boot and still the same problem.

    1) Check your RAM voltage and ensure it's surrounded by manufacturer's specs. Would not hurt to run Memorytest either.

Everything is completed. Forty eight hours of prime ninety five executing most heat and forty eight hours of maximum memory. I do not see how unusual working System would generate voltage fault.

Vista make more use of the hardware you have vs. XP. Your RAM is not legislative body there idle, it's in summit of fact individual used. What are the specs of your machine?

Return to stock speeds and see what happens... just because your over-clock is steady in XP, there is no assurance that will be the case in Vista or 7. Setting back to stock is always an essential first step in troubleshooting problems in Windows.

I tried. Put everything back to stock and let prime95 run 12hrs and not get any errors. I did a reboot and after that tried playing the same games. I got the same issue. One thing I noted is after burden prime95 I cannot get task manager to open at times. It’ll display by the time, but will just sit there and flash from 0% CPU usage to 100% CPU usage. Also the window that opens when you left click the task manager's icon near the clock will not go away and you cannot click any of its options.
