    Default Backing up Internet HistoryIf you have ever experienced PC crash, then you recognize

    If you have ever experienced PC crash, then you recognize implication of making backups of bookmarks, user profile, browsing history and other Internet history. It is also useful if you want to migrate to new PC but don’t want to recreate other browser profile. Whether you are using IE or Mozilla Firefox, following steps help you back up Internet history.

    Instructions

    Step 1

    Use software that back up all Internet history in IE. E.g."BackRex Internet Explorer Backup" and "Internet Explorer Backup." For Mozilla Firefox users, use "MozBackup" or "EZ Backup Firefox Pro."

    Step 2

    Start Internet browser. Go to download site of backup software. Click "Save File" to save it. Follow installation instructions until it is completed.

    Step 3

    Run application and start backing up Internet history. Follow instructions. You may select to back up cookies, browsing history and other Internet history. Ensure that back up all vital data.

    Step 4

    Allow "Saving of history files" in browser, if it is not enabled. In Mozilla Firefox, tick "Tools" and then tick "Options." Choose "Privacy" tab and tick check boxes below "History," to save all history, address bar searches and downloaded files. Also tick check box next to "Accept cookies from sites" to enable cookies. Click "Ok" to validate.

    Step 5

    Allow saving of Internet history in IE by click "Tools," and then "Internet Options." In "General" tab, enter number of "Days you want to keep history" and tick "Ok."
