For MAC OS X, active data sharing through Samba. For this go to System preferences, Sharing and check "file sharing". Then go to "options" and check SMB share. Then to control public folders with small plus and minus there is user management. To edit files, pass "Everyone" read and write. For PC, right click on file and start to share folder as public record.
I have already done this, but problem is synchronization between Mac and pc.
