Thread: Firefox sends Google results

In my laptop I installed XP and using Mozilla as my default browser. I updated Mozilla Firefox to new version and after updating it redirects Google search results. When any link from Google search is open, browser takes me to other website. Any help will be appreciated.

May be this new version of Mozilla Firefox is damage and it is generating problems as surfing. Each application has many files which are linked to it. If any file related to application gets damage then application won’t work appropriately. Attempt uninstalling new version of browser, then remove all files and keys related to it. Then install application again and see if it works correctly.

I think PC is infected by virus which is not permitting user to visit websites which he wanted. If any virus infects files related to browser, then browser won’t work appropriately. So scan system with updated antivirus. If infected files are detected, repair or quarantine them and check browser works correctly or not. Do not remove any files as it causes system failure.
