Thread: Avoiding Firefox downloading automatically

In windows download there is check box that permits browser to apply similar action for similar kind of file each time. I need to check box by mistake for PDF files and when I go on web link that has PDF Firefox saves on PC. How can I return to state or browser doesn’t save directly and gives either open or save it. Any help will be appreciated.

Just open Firefox go to "Tools" then "Options" then "Applications" you look in "content" kind of file that create problem and opposite action and click on check "always ask".

Follow the three steps given below to solve your problem.

1 - Start Firefox; go to "Tools" then "Options".

2 - Then click "Applications"

3 - search in "content" type of file that cause problem, then click action and check "always ask".

This will solve your problem.
