Thread: Identify and Repair on Outlook 2003 missing all

My Outlook 2003 on Vista becomes unsteady so I tried Detect and Repair function. When prompted, I checked both boxes to restore original shortcuts. When it was finished, I had new Outlook 2003 and lost all files that are in Outlook. So please help me to restore these all files. Any help would be appreciated.

Try to reinstall outlook 2003 or use repair option. But if you reinstall outlook then you can’t get .pst file. So use any backup recovery software to do this.

Thanks for reply. I do not know how, but it does show to have reinstalled. I just did Detect and Repair and choose to redo shortcuts. Do you suggest some recovery software?

Chances are that data file is undamaged. If it is at default place, it's possibly hidden in user folder/Application Settings/Microsoft/... check that and you can get it.
