It is very simple to add them in Picasa, when you receives any images through attachments Gmail gives a link called "Download all attachments" in your email, download all images in your Picasa build up folder and in Picasa there as an option to automatically search for new files in File Manager Tools and click on analysis continuously or only once.

No, there is no other method is available. You have to manual transfer image attachments from your Gmail account to you computer and after that to Picasa photo album.

Default email pictures from gmail to picasa

    Hey,

If your using gmail and picasa web album from your browser (not the picasa desktop version) , the pictures are already on the gmail servers, you DO NOT have to download them and upload them.

Just go to your Picasa Web album> Settings>Upload photos by email. Check it, then enter a secret word that gives you an email address, copy this address. Then go back to gmail, and forward the your pictures to this address. Voila.

    Hello
Are you talking about Picasa WebAlbum?

No, your picture must be downloaded to your PC before you can do
anything with it with Picasa or upload it to WebAlbum.
