Thread: Internet Connection Goes Down

I have installed brother MFC-255CW printer then my internet connection keeps going down. firstly it seemed to occur when phone firstly it seemed to happen when phone rang, but I have noticed that it seems to be doing it more often when the phone is idle. I have unplugged the phone cable from the printer, and this has made no difference. Please help me to solve this problem.

What kind of internet do you have? If it is DSL then you need to put a DSL filter printer’s Fax line. It also sounds like it could be Wi-Fi problem with your phone. Do you have cordless phones and is your computer connected to the DSL router wirelessly? If so you may want to change your Wireless Channel on your Router.
