    Default Windows explorer stops responding

    My internet connection goes off I can’t open ANY folders; I can open files that are directly on my desktop, but any folder. I attempt to open make windows explorer stop responding. Please help me to solve this problem.

    It could be something driver related. Try reinstalling drivers for networking card. Also it could mean that your hard drive's life is almost over, while this is unlikely in new computer. You should check to be sure. Try and lookup the SMART status of the hard drive by using SMART viewer which is located on Boot disc You can get the boot disc by doing a little search on the internet.
