This information is only for IE7 and IE8 explorers.
Active content is interactive or animation content used on websites. It contains ActiveX controls and web browser add-ons, which are small programs that are used broadly on the Internet. Active content can build web browsing more pleasant by given that toolbars, stock tickers, video, animated content, and more.
Why does Internet Explorer restrict active content?
IE restricts this content because intermittently these programs can break down or give you content you don't want. In a few cases, these programs can be used to gather information about you, damage information on your system, install software without your permission, or permit somebody else to control your PC remotely. Because of these possibilities, you should only permit active content if you completely trust the publisher or the website it's coming from.
How can I allow active content?
If IE restricts active content that you are sure you want to permit, click the Information bar, and then click Allow blocked content.
