Due to some unknown reason, the "View I Full Screen" menu command is grayed out and deactivated. Even the [F11] key doesn't work. But you prefer using the full screen view without menu bars for clutter free surfing. The cause of the problem is a setting in the registry that can be activated inadvertently by some registry cleaning applications. To correct it, click "Start I Run", type "regedit" and click "OK".
In the editor, navigate to the "H KEY _CU RRENT _USER\Software\ Policies\Microsoft\lnternetExplorer" key. Create it if it is not already present. Look for the "NoTheaterMode" DWORD value in the "Restrictions" subkey. To undo the restriction, change the value from" 1" bin with "Edit I Delete". Confirm the prompt that pops up by clicking "Yes". In addition, you should also check whether an entry of the same name exists in the "HKEY_LOCAL MACHINE\SOFTWARE\ Pol icies\M icrosoft\1 nternetExplorer\ Restrictions" key. Delete it or change it as instructed above and then close the registry. The restriction vanishes after restarting Internet Explorer.
