Sometimes, the best thing to do with a particularly large file is to split it into smaller parts. Email attachments usually have a limit of 10 MB, with Gmail providing a 20 MB limit. Even file storage websites have a maximum file size limit for upload. Some of the compression utilities listed in the table on the previous page can compress and split files.
We evaluated six different file splitting programs based on their maximum file size capacity, efficiency of splitting, merge option, generation of self joining EXE file and special features like password protection.
The methods discussed here are not the only ways to transfer files, but they are the most common and easy to use. Now, you can let go of email attachments
