For the past two weeks clicking on/an internet link produces a box with the link address and the message, 'Application not found'. I am using a Dell Dimension E520 with Vista Home Premium.

The most likely cause of this is that Windows cannot find t e web browser it thinks it
should be using. This normally happens after uninstalling a browser such as Opera or Firefox.
Left-click on the Start button, type 'Internet Explorer' and then press Enter. There's a good chance that Internet Explorer will check whether it is the default web browser and, on finding that it isn't, offer to change the settings so that it is. Otherwise, left-click on the Tools menu and then select Internet Options. Left¬click on the Programs tab and then on the 'Make default' button at the top of the window. If you intend to keep using Internet Explorer, it is a good idea to select the option 'Tell me if Internet Explorer is not the default web browser'. Click on OK to save the changes.
