Thread: How to download file with the assist of broadband router

I am having the desktop computer system which has the Windows XP operating system and IE7 is my default browser. My system is connected to broadband connection which is gives by a Comtrend broadband router. The issue is I am not able to download any file from the Internet using IE7. Download has been started but after some time stuck-up .I don’t know why I Cannot download files from Internet using IE7 with router. Please let me know if there is any inbuilt method to overcome the issue. Any help would be highly appreciated.

Use the steps which are listed below:

1. Go to Start>> Settings, and next click Control Panel.

2. In Control Panel>>double-click Add/Remove Programs.

3. Click Internet Explorer 5.5 SP1 and Internet Tools, and after that click Add/Remove.

4. In the Internet Explorer 5.5 and Internet Tools dialog box, click Repair Internet
Explorer, after that click OK, and after that click Yes to confirm the repair.

5. Click yes to reboot the PC.
