Thread: Pros and cons of Virtual Machine Hosting

I want to host my site. I have only option available to be virtual dedicated server, and dynamic dedicated server. So I want to know about what are the Pros and cons of Virtual Machine Hosting?? All possible replies and comments are appreciated. Thank you.

Host a website at home offers complete freedom, but there are constraints:

• Normally use that PHP / MySql

• You do not have access to the web server logs, or logs to MySql

• MySQL Access restricted

• incapable to install applications you want

• incapability to pages or services on other ports than port 80

• Impracticality has a HTTPS site.

• It have to leave your computer on 24/24 basis.
