Microsoft first introduced its AutoPlay feature with Windows XP. The tool scan all the detachable media plugged into your PC for picture, audio and video files. When it finds them, it pops up a conversation suggesting various actions. The Autoplay.Exe file relies on software on the external devices, which tend to be delicate. Instructions:-
Autoplay Repair Wizard
1. Download the Autoplay Repair Wizard from the link in Resources below.
2. Open the program that downloads. It will be titled AutoFix.exe.
3. Hit "Next." The Wizard will begin scanning for Autoplay.exe viruses.
4 .Hit the entire activated "Repair" button(s) when the scan finishes. If all buttons are deactivated , continue.
5. Hit "Next" and select the drive on which Autoplay.exe is broken. If the problem only occurs with a particular flash or CD drive, select it. If it affects all your external drives, select "Local Drive."
6. Hit "Next."
7. Hit the activated "Repair" button(s) when the scan finishes. If all buttons are again deactivated, continue on.
8. Set up a situation affected by the Autoplay.exe virus. For example, if the virus concern your CD player, insert a CD. If it affect a flash drive, plug that drive in.
9. Hit "Begin Test."
10. Hit the activated "Repair" button(s) when the test completes.
11. Exit out of the wizard.
12. Restart your computer.
