I am having a Slow Internet Win7?

Well as we all know Win 7 intuitively finds drivers etc for installed hardware more than windows XP ever did. SO I don't know if win 7 has been corrupted, has changed the drivers or caused some problems to my Network COntroller. Moreover way, my machine runs very fast with XP and cute slow with win 7. It might be a corrupt or problem with internet explorer 8 but it does the similar thing with Firefox too. I even put in a different hard drive with a clean install of Win 7 with nothing installed and it runs excellent. SO something has happened to the connection of my other win 7 installation somehow. I'm just trying to figure it out.

Its old but still nice you can use Dell 4600, Dual booted Windows XP Home and WIndows 7 definitive, Overclocked Pentium 4 3.2Ghz to 3.57Ghz, 4Gb G-Skill recall running in dual channel, Nvidia GeForce 7600GS 512mb video card, Creative Sound Blaster 5.1 sound card, 1 x 500gb internal hard drive, 2 x 160gb interior hard drives, 1 250gb external HD.
