While you put up a Cox cable network Internet connection on PC, an icon for this link is located in a very exact folder on your machine. Every Internet connection you might have be it a dial-up connection, a broadband link or a wireless connection, gets an icon in this folder. Deleting a Cox network Internet connection on your PC involves deleting this icon from your Windows "Control Panel."
Instructions
• Press "Start."
• Press "Control Panel."
• Unlock the "Network and Sharing Center."
• Press the "Disconnect" button to separate from your Cox network connection. Your PC will no longer be linked to the Internet.
• Press "Change Adapter Settings." Right hit on your Cox Internet connection's icon and then press "Delete" to delete this Internet connection from your PC.
