Blocking a garbage in Hotmail?

Press "Options" in the upper right-hand corner of the Hotmail home monitor. Choose "More options" from the bottom of the menu that emerges.

Press "Filters and reporting" under the "Junk e-mail" part. Choose a level of filter you desire to relate to your e-mail inbox: low, standard or select. Choose exclusive if you desire everything to be considered junk excluding for mail sent by one of your contacts or safe-listed senders.

Go back to the "Options" menu and choose "Safe and blocked senders." Add specific e-mail addresses and mailing lists to safe list to make sure they will not by chance be sent to the junk folder. Press on "Blocked senders" and add any e-mail address you do not desire to receive e-mail from. If anyone on your blocked sender list sends you a message, it will automatically be considered junk and deleted.
