Thread: Can't keep in mind passwords, usernames

I am using Windows XP operating system with 2GB RAM and Core2Duo processor and my default browser is Mozilla Firefox. I want to save passwords, usernames for particular websites that’s why I mark the box to remember. But when I go back to a site that requires a password etc. my PC won't remember automatically. If you are having any suggestions then reply me. It can helpful to me. Thanks in advanced.

Check your settings. If you have usernames and passwords that are saved within a cookie and you also have your settings to put everything on exit you can lose that information.

Try this which may helpful for you.

• At the top of the Firefox window, click on the Tools menu, and choose Options....

• Choose the Security panel.

• If it isn't already check marked, check Remember passwords for sites.

• To the right of Remember passwords for sites, click the Exceptions... button.

• Ensure that the website you're trying to log in to isn't in the list.

• If it is, choose the entry and click Remove and Click Close.

• Click OK to close the Options window

Here is a simple solution:-

• With Firefox open click Tools and then Options.

• On the Security tab under Passwords

• check the box that says “Remember Passwords for sites”
