    Default Fitting window registry with CCleaner

    I want to know how to fix the windows registry file by using CCleaner. I get some unwanted errors in my system. I tried to run a virus scan. Also I noticed windows are not keeping a track of my recently opened documents. Also I want know how to disable the new software show up in the start menu. Please help what is this and how do i resolve that issue.

    Using Ccleaner you can clean up your windows registry.

    • Run Ccleaner and after that errors detected by the program are displayed.

    • Click Repair errors selected.

    • Confirm the backup of changes to be made in the registry by clicking the Yes button.

    • Name the backup file

    • Select a location and then click Save.

    You can easily disable this list.

    • Right click on the Start button and click Properties.

    • In the Start Menu tab, uncheck the Store and display recently opened files.

    • Click OK.

    • Open documents are no longer listed

    • Recent Documents list is cleared and removed from the Start menu.
