Thread: Solved: Trendmicro, Antispyware

I have been trying to uninstall Trend micro antispyware. It would not let me perform this.
I downloaded a removal tool recommended by trend micro, and now I can't get my control panel, and I can't remove this tool Icon from desktop. I have been trying many solutions but none of them worked for me. If you guys can help me it would be great. Thanks for your replies.

What about systems restore to a date before to you installed trend micro.

**) Now I tried restore and it tells it can't place a certain file and I can't use restore. The file it can't locate is C:\windows\32\rstrui.exe.

If you have an install or recovery disc you could try it from there or plan to copy it over from disc.

**) Now I removed deletion icon which I couldn't earlier, and restored system.
It looks to be all right.
