    Default Fixed IP set

I am dedicated to the maintenance and repair of computers, LAN amount. I have a client who purchased a Fixed IP directions to check your equipment from elsewhere and the problem is that I do not know how to configure it .that's the help I need if anyone can do it.

I have a hub which is connected to the server, the ADSL and a wireless router that delivers the signal to the local network. The server has Windows Server 2003, and the other Windows XP and Vista computers on two laptops.

It is assumed that your router is encyclical and must have a password for the PC to connect wireless and the same key must be set on each PC to connect to the network. Have you done so?.

What happens is that the network is already configured and local teams working perfectly. The fixed IP configuration is not which of the devices set up and how to enter the server or to see the computers remotely.

I do not know because I have not worked with servers. To see if any partner you can explain.

The ip is set to go on the internet provider's equipment, if they so ADSL is not anything you set your PPPoE account just because the ip is defined based on the log in.

If the ADSL is in bridge and for that reason you have a router the ip is the router and set it as static, the server is not good to put it straight to the internet as it can be attacked very easily.
